2023 Change

The Granville Shopping Center informed us that their insurance prohibits the parade from ending in their parking lot. Thankfully, the Karl Road Baptist Church, KRBC, welcomed the opportunity to have their parking lot serve as the parade’s ending point. KRBC requested using their north driveway to enter their parking lot so that their front yard could be used for parade spectators. This route change removed Karl Court from the parade route. This change did not go quite as well as we all hoped.

2024 Change

KRBC requested we enter their parking lot from their south driveway and exit from their north driveway. This change removed Hempwood Drive from the parade route. This hopefully eliminates the 2023 backlog problem caused by “finished” participants re-entering the parade route before the parade ended.

Parade’s Intersections

The procession travels north on Karl Road and passes through these intersections:

  • Merton Drive
  • Red Robin Road
  • Norma Road
  • Fahlander Drive South
  • Penworth Drive
  • Sandalwood Place
  • Cottonwood Drive

Note: The parade route is usually crowded around intersections. Please consider moving away from intersections. If you are with fewer spectators, you are likely to receive more items from the parade participants! Spread out! 🙂
